Terms of service

The agreement between you and Wedding Overview, in plain language. Questions? Email hallo@weddingoverview.com.

1. Who you are dealing with

2. What Wedding Overview is

Wedding Overview is an online planning app for one wedding: guest list, RSVP, budget, vendors, tasks, day-of timeline, seating, documents, and a wedding website with personal RSVP links for your guests.

3. Accounts and planning together

You need an account to plan. You can invite your partner and helpers into your wedding; you decide per person what they can see and do. You are responsible for keeping your login private and for who you invite.

4. The one-time purchase

Wedding Overview opens after a one-time purchase of $99. The purchase gives you, and the people you invite, full access to the app for one wedding: guest list, RSVP, budget, vendors, tasks, day-of timeline, seating, documents, and the wedding website with personal RSVP links. Before you buy you can look around in the demo, which is read-only.

$99 is the full price of the purchase. It is a one-time payment, not a subscription, and there are no per-guest fees.

You are charged $99 in US dollars, once.

5. Money-back guarantee

Not for you after all? Within 30 days of purchase you get a full refund. One email to hallo@weddingoverview.com is enough; we do not ask why.

6. How long the service runs

Your purchase covers your entire engagement, through the wedding day and the thank-yous after. The wedding and its guest data are removed twelve months after your wedding date, because guests did not hand over their details indefinitely; if no wedding date is set, the twelve months count from your last login. You are warned by email in advance and can export everything first. Payment and invoice records are kept longer, because tax law requires it.

7. Immediate access and cancellation

What you buy is immediate access to a digital service. The moment your payment succeeds we open the app for your wedding, and you can use it from that moment. By completing the purchase you ask us to start delivering at once and you acknowledge that delivery begins immediately, before any waiting period could run.

Because delivery starts at once, cancelling is not stopping a shipment but asking for your money back, and that is exactly what the guarantee in section 5 is for: within 30 days of purchase you get a full refund, and we do not ask why. A refund ends your access immediately: the app closes and your wedding website is no longer visible to guests. Your data stays stored for the retention period in section 6, and you can still request it from your account details.

If the law of the state where you live gives you a statutory right to cancel a purchase like this, this section does not take that right away. The governing law section below says the same about every other protection you have as a consumer.

Questions about access or cancellation? Email hallo@weddingoverview.com.

8. Your content and your guests' data

Your texts, photos, and guest data remain yours. You give us the technical permission needed to store and show them, and nothing more. For guest data, you decide what leaves the app: exports and emails happen on your instruction. How we protect personal data is described in the privacy policy.

9. Fair use

Use Wedding Overview for planning your wedding. Do not use it to send spam, to store unlawful content, to infringe on the rights of others, or to probe or disrupt the service. We may suspend accounts that do.

10. What you may expect from us

We run the service with care and aim to keep it available, but we do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. No online service can honestly promise that. Our liability is limited to the amount you paid us, except where the law does not allow that limitation.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by Belgian law. Mandatory consumer protections of the country or state where you live remain yours; nothing in these terms takes them away.

12. Changes

We may update these terms when Wedding Overview changes or when the law does. The newest version is always on this page; meaningful changes are announced by email.
